Divvito alternative Australia

Divvito has closed. Your record doesn’t have to.

Modus is a secure messaging app for separated co-parents. Bring your existing Divvito history with you, and every message from here on stays exactly as it was sent — one record you can search and export any time.

Australian-built · Permanent record · No editing · No deletion

For former Divvito users

Divvito closed on 22 July 2026. Modus is a secure messaging app for separated co-parents, with a focused record kept separate from texts, email and screenshots.

If you saved or exported your Divvito message history before it closed, you can bring that file into Modus. Modus can't recover anything that wasn't saved before Divvito closed, and can't retrieve data from Divvito directly.

Modus is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Divvito. Divvito is mentioned only to help users looking for alternatives.

Continuity

Bring your Divvito history with you.

Export your Divvito message history as a PDF, then import it directly into Modus. The original file is stored and hashed; imported messages are labelled as imported and can't be edited or deleted — the same protection every other message in your record gets.

Timestamps come from the original file as it was written. Modus doesn’t independently verify when the original messages were sent — imported history keeps its “imported” label throughout your record and in any export.

Why Modus

A simpler, clearer communication record.

Modus isn't trying to be a full family organiser — it's a calm, practical place for parenting communication you may need to review later.

Moving from Divvito to Modus.

If you saved a Divvito export before it closed, moving your record across is straightforward.

  • If you saved or exported your Divvito message history before it closed, keep that file — you'll use it to import into Modus.
  • Download Modus from Google Play, or use it in your browser.
  • Create a family matter in Modus and invite the other parent.
  • Import your Divvito file, then keep new parenting communication in one focused, clearly recorded space.

A neutral note you can adapt

I understand Divvito has closed. I’d like us to keep parenting communication in one clear place so there’s a consistent record going forward. I’m moving to Modus, an Australian-developed messaging app — one family matter, one subscription, so we can both use the same record.
