Court-ready records

Court-ready records, without screenshot chaos.

High-conflict parenting communication often becomes evidence. But screenshots, scattered files and long message chains can be hard to organise, search and present. Modus generates structured, text-native records by date range — a PDF you can search, not a stack of scanned screenshots.

Important

Modus does not guarantee that a document will be accepted by a court or tribunal. Court requirements vary by jurisdiction and matter type. Modus exports are designed to support legal review, affidavit preparation, annexures, chronologies and practical record keeping. Users should obtain legal advice about what to file, how to file it and whether material is relevant or admissible.

A structured report, not a folder of screenshots.

A Modus export includes:

  • Cover page with parties, children recorded in settings and matter type
  • Date range, timezone and communication restriction summary
  • Total message count and messages by sender
  • Warning, possible breach and manual flag summaries
  • Chronological message history with text labels
  • Attachment index with IDs, uploaders and file hashes
  • Export ID, verification hash and generation details
  • Page numbering throughout

The PDF itself is text, not an image of a screen — every page is searchable and selectable, and it prints cleanly in black and white.

Messages in order, with context.

Each message in the chronology shows the date, time, sender, topic, child tag, message body, any warning or flag labels, and attachment references.

Exports do not rely on colour alone. Every warning and flag carries a clear text label, with borders and print-safe shading.

A lighter way to handle photos and documents.

Large image-heavy PDFs can become difficult to open, email, print or file. Modus defaults to a clean attachment index rather than embedding every photo and document in the main PDF — with optional attachment bundles where needed.

Designed to support affidavits, briefs and chronologies.

Modus exports are designed to be annexure-friendly: structured, dated, paginated, searchable and clearly indexed. They are intended to support legal review and document preparation, not replace legal advice.

  • Generate a defined date range
  • Identify each page clearly
  • Refer to attachment IDs
  • Extract a chronology
  • Find flagged messages quickly
  • Search the PDF text
  • Print in black and white

Export details travel with the record.

Each export includes an export ID, generation timestamp, requesting user, date range, timezone, message and attachment counts, a verification hash, an export audit event and the version of the export template used.

Records should be clear before they are needed.
