Court-ready records
Court-ready records, without the screenshot pile.
High-conflict parenting communication often becomes evidence. Modus keeps a structured, searchable record for any date range, so if it ever matters, you have a clear PDF instead of scattered screenshots.
Important
Each export brings the pieces together: your message history, warning and breach summaries, an attachment index, an export ID, generation details, and a verification hash. Modus can't promise any document will be accepted by a court or tribunal. Court requirements vary by jurisdiction and matter type. It's built to give you a clear, dependable record to work from. Obtain legal advice about what to file, how to file it, and whether material is relevant or admissible.

A structured report, not a folder of screenshots.
A Modus export includes:
- Cover page with parents on the record, date range, and verification details
- Date range, timezone, and communication rule summary
- Total message count and messages by sender
- Warning and possible breach summaries
- Chronological message history with text labels
- Attachment index with IDs, uploaders, and file hashes
- Export ID, verification hash, and generation details
- Page numbering throughout
The PDF is text, not an image of a screen. Every page is searchable and selectable, and it prints cleanly in black and white.
Messages in order, with context.
Each message in the chronology shows the date, time, sender, topic, message body, any warning or flag labels, and attachment references.

Visible in colour and black and white.
Exports don't rely on colour alone. Every warning and flag carries a clear text label, with borders and print-safe shading.
| Record type | Text marker | Visual treatment |
|---|---|---|
| Tone warning shown | Warning Shown | Light shade |
| Sent after warning | Sent After Warning | Dotted border |
| System flagged | System Flagged | Light shade |
| Breach of a configured rule | Likely Breach Based on Configured Rule | Strong border and bold label |
| Manual flag | Manually Flagged | Side marker |
Photos and documents stay manageable.
Large image-heavy PDFs are hard to open, email, print, or file. Modus defaults to a clean attachment index rather than embedding every photo and document in the main PDF, with optional attachment bundles where needed.
